The £25 million Southampton Harbour Hotel & Spa opened its doors this October.
The five-star luxury hotel has been designed to look like a superyacht and forms the centrepiece for MDL Marina’s redevelopment of the Ocean Village Marina. The new hotel is the jewel in the crown of Harbour Hotels’ extensive portfolio and features stunning contemporary interiors, an award-winning restaurant, luxurious spa and exciting rooftop bar.
On the ground floor, The Jetty restaurant offers relaxation, great food and a beautiful outdoor terrace with views across the marina. The menus have been created by award winning chef patron, Alex Aitken. Aitken is one of the South’s most respected chefs, serving impeccable food with a focus on seafood. Local oysters, lobster and shrimps are served on Heritage Collection’s shoreline stoneware. Shoreline lends itself perfectly to seafood, capturing the timeless beauty of the ocean’s weathered objects. The subtle, graduated glaze blends into a white working area, creating a perfect canvas for some very special food. The Jetty restaurant also commissioned some bespoke seafood stands which were manufactured by hand at our Birmingham factory.
